Director Daniel Hopp and his neighbor Daggi, a former private investigator from East Berlin, investigate the death of his previous tenant. Daggi not only brings with her keen powers of observation, but also her own story of escape, ruptures, and distrustful care. During their investigation, their two biographies become increasingly intertwined—reinforced by an actor who embodies Hopp and elevates the events to a reflexive meta-level.
