“Again, again and again.”
CTRL + Z is an experimental short film structured as a descent into the obsessive mind, that visualizes the intrusive thoughts and consuming nature of obsessive-compulsive disorder. The film unfolds across three visual spaces - the tunnel, the bathtub, and the snow, each reflecting a different layer of the protagonist’s psychological state. The film’s soundscape is built from non-synchronous delayed piano notes, dripping water, whispers, screams, footsteps, and distant echoes, all layered and distorted to create a disorienting rhythm that mirrors her obsessive, looping state of mind. CTRL + Z immerses the audience in the never-ending cycle that consumes her.
