“End of the world?”
'Corona 2049' is an astonishing short film in which a young boy from the year 2049 named "Washi" played by Dushyant Kapoor has to go through enormous amount of pain and hard work for even a few drops of water which would help him survive on the planet. And how he was pushed into such worst situation due to his ancestors as they did not take proper care of the earth.

This in-world short film takes place in the year 2036 and revolves around Jared Leto’s character, Niander Wallace. In this short, Wallace introduces a new line of “perfected” replicants called the Nexus 9, seeking to get the prohibition on replicants repealed. This no doubt has serious ramifications that will be crucial to the plot of Blade Runner 2049.
