A dramatization of the hacienda system in Peru, in which Spanish colonial patrons stole large land tracts and forced Indigenous people to work the land. When one man refuses to work the hacienda in exchange for meager coca leaves, he initiates an Indigenous Campesino rejection of the hacienda system.
