A bad day gets worse for young detective Murakami when a pickpocket steals his gun on a hot, crowded bus. Desperate to right the wrong, he goes undercover, scavenging Tokyo’s sweltering streets for the stray dog whose desperation has led him to a life of crime. With each step, cop and criminal’s lives become more intertwined and the investigation becomes an examination of Murakami’s own dark side.

Shanju was abducted by human traffickers and bought into the mountains. When he escaped, he met old man Zhongby chance. Old man Zhong brought Shanju home, and his son Shi Gemistakenly thought that Shan Ju was the daughter-in-law his father bought for him, who knew that Shan Ju, with a strong personality, would rather die with poison than get close to him. The misunderstanding was resolved, and Mr. Zhong's family took good care of Shan Ju who was ill in bed, and then contacted Shan Ju's family to pick her up.
