In June 1997, a team of Argentine and Cuban scientists, including forensic anthropologists and geophysicists, carried out a search in the lands of the old Vallegrande airfield in Bolivia, to find the remains of Commander Che Guevara and the six companions who had been buried there 30 years earlier. This documentary work shows more than just the scientific work and the discovery of the skeletal remains, an exciting account of the events of October 8, 1967, when Che was taken prisoner in the battle of Vado del Yeso, facing the forces of the Bolivian Rangers, and subsequently a day later he was shot at the little school in La Higuera.
