Franziska is shocked: her husband Rainer has suddenly left her. Depressed, she decides to travel alone to her cousin Amelia's wedding in Ireland. Shortly before her departure, she notices a magical book that seems to be trying to tell her something with its regularly changing covers. Once in Ireland, Franziska believes she must help Adam, the best man who is also newly separated, win back his ex-girlfriend Sally if she wants to find happiness again herself. Only gradually does she realize the true intention of the book.
