How to Train Your Dragon: Legends is a DVD package that includes the shorts Legend of the Boneknapper Dragon, Gift of the Night Fury, and Book of Dragons. The first release that came out only contained Legend of the Boneknapper Dragon and Book of Dragon. A later version, titled How to Train Train Your Dragon: The Complete Shorts Collection, includes Dawn of the Dragon Racers.

Cap'n Turbot accidentally stumbles into a secret cavern that was once a pirate's hideout. When the PAW Patrol rescues him, they find an incomplete treasure map. The adventure is on as the pups follow clues to find the missing map pieces, and eventually to a sunken pirate treasure!

When the dinosaur families get trapped in a valley by an ice storm, one family of "spike tail" dinosaurs volunteers to leave since they consume more food than the others.
