“Love, Loss, and Walking Boots”
Booted takes the form of a parent's message to their child, narrated while remembering the course of their life via the medium of their footwear. Produced by Tiverton-based Sword and Fiddle Productions, it was filmed in 2024 across various locations in South West England, and rooted further in the region with contributions from BOVTS graduate actor Olivia Edwards; Exeter singer-songwriters Sound of the Sirens; and Devon-based voice-over artist and actor Simon Alison

After a bleak childhood, Jane Eyre goes out into the world to become a governess. As she lives happily in her new position at Thornfield Hall, she meets the dark, cold, and abrupt master of the house, Edward Rochester. Jane and her employer grow close in friendship and she soon finds herself falling in love with him.
