Shirin, a 15-year-old Muslim girl, has been living a solitary life with her ailing mother for the past two years. One day, her mother passes away, leaving her to reconnect with her father, with whom she has had no contact for a long time, to handle the funeral according to Islamic customs. Once the ceremonies are over, Shirin must face living with her father in their old home and find answers for her own life.
