Masha grew up believing that one day her mother would hear her out — the way a lost child believes their call will be answered. The mother could hear… but chose not to listen. Childhood dissolved into adolescence, adolescence into adulthood — each stage marked by a new wound, a deeper hurt. Masha grew up, and within her grew an unrelenting desire for vengeance, a need to avenge the unheard child she once was. Or perhaps it was never truly about vengeance — only the quiet, desperate urge to end it once and for all.
