A Language All My Own (1935)

A beautiful blonde joins a small group of men running an oil station in the Sahara Desert and starts the emotions soaring.

َA father, Daei Ghafur, does not accept his son's death during 1980-1988 conflict between Iran and Iraq, and believes he is alive despite all evidence indicating otherwise. One day he meets a young lady, Shirin, at the airport who has travelled from Europe to Iran looking for his brother, Khosrow, a missing soldier at war. Both start searching their loved ones...

The film delicately follows 25-year-old Anna, whose mother has died suddenly. She wants to send her Orthodox mother on her last journey according to customs, but she runs into bureaucratic rules that do not allow Anna to dress her departed mother herself. This conflict brings her together with Maria, a 45-year-old funeral home worker, who in this story represents the hidden fears of death and grief on a deep emotional level.

Few figures in professional baseball had a career quite like Pete Rose -- and practically no one who climbed so high fell so hard. Rose made his major-league debut playing second base with the Cincinnati Reds in 1963; nicknamed "Charlie Hustle" for his daringness and enthusiasm over the course of his career, Rose played in eighteen All-Star games, earned three World Series rings, broke Ty Cobb's record for career hits, and in 1975 was named Sportsman of the Year by both Sports Illustrated and The Sporting News. In 1984, after six years with other teams, Rose returned to the Reds, signing on as both player and manager at the age of 43; he continued to play until 1986, and stepped down as manager in 1989. That same year, a dark secret Rose had been hiding for years came to the surface -- Rose had for years been dealing with an addiction to gambling, and after falling deep in debt to bookies by betting on horse racing, he attempted to make the money back by betting on baseball.

A tender tough guy, Shitou, and a fierce, strong-willed girl, Aijia, are thrown together by chance and quickly entangled in a series of misunderstandings. To get what she wants, Aijia uses every trick in the book: flipping from cat-and-mouse games to maid roleplay, pulling out all 36 strategies of love. Their love-hate dynamic sparks a chaotic but fast-paced romance in the 5G era. But as unexpected events unfold, hidden secrets begin to surface. Can their unofficial love survive the truth?
