A man returning from a trip is invited to stay in his best friend's residence. There, he meets the man's wife and soon a love affair begins. With a great sense of enthusiasm he shares to his friend that he's deeply in love with a woman he just met, creating a great sense of curiosity on the other, barely knowing that the woman is actually his wife.

Not being taken seriously, he starts an independent investigation to prove his claim, but when the evidence still appears to be inconclusive, Polsky is forced to engage in a relationship with the enemy in order to obtain irrefutable proof.
