Nishi, a girl in her late teens, the protagonist of the film '1:30 am', portrays an intense human turmoil, being torn inside by her split personality. Her make-belief world is happy and normal, darkness and void hitting her in swings. The inconceivable mysteries of her alter existence, guides her through the state of caged delusion, relieving her from pain. Torn within, Nishi commits heinous crimes, yet, lives on to believe she doesn't. Her entity is ensured by her second self. Her own split personality controls Nishi as a silent killer hiding behind a mask of composure and mindless chatter. As we move through some phases of Nishi's life, the invisible power becomes overwhelming, leaving us at a mysterious crossroad of Nishi's existence and non-existence.

Alex, Marty, and other zoo animals find a way to escape from Madagascar when the penguins reassemble a wrecked airplane. The precariously repaired craft stays airborne just long enough to make it to the African continent. There the New Yorkers encounter members of their own species for the first time. Africa proves to be a wild place, but Alex and company wonder if it is better than their Central Park home.
